ACTUARIAL EXAMS (P, FM)

Exam (P) Probability and Exam (FM) Financial Mathematics are the first two actuarial exams offered by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). This course was created for students just entering into the actuarial profession to assist in their preparation for these exams.

PAST BOOTCAMP RESULTS:

- 1 Exam (FM) success from our Financial Mathematics class instructed as a     part of the SAAMS 2024 program offered by Morgan State University. 

- 1 Exam (FM) success in our last Spring 2024 bootcamp! (Camp size : 1)

- 1 Exam (P) success in our last Winter 2023 bootcamp! (Camp size : 2)

- 2 Exam (P) successes in our Winter 2022 bootcamp! (Camp size: 7)

PROGRAM DURATION: 

Two Months leading up to the Exam window.

PROGRAM GOALS: 

• To instill a solid actuarial math foundation in all our students

• To mentor each student on their actuarial and career journey

• For each student to successful pass the above exams. 

 

PROGRAM FEATURES:

• Small cohort sizes (<9 students) 

Why? We want to optimize the learning experience for every student! Students are more likely to be vocal when they are not understanding in a smaller class setting.​

• Instruct ALL Exam Syllabus Material

Why? We want to fix base issues that are appearing in later topics! Remember math builds on prior material.

• 40 hours of instructing!

• Practice and review of past paper examinations

• In-class exercises and homework worksheets

• Assessment activity will be administered during the program

• All sessions are virtual for your convenience on our Zoom Platform. Session recordings will be provided to all enrolled students.
